Nothing Has Changed

“I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring.” If David Bowie is anything like David Bowie, he’s already on to bigger, better, decidedly unboring things. But we mere mortals left behind after his unforeseen passing earlier this year are still mourning our iconic starman, our cosmic prophet, our musical demi-god, and we want to grieve, to celebrate that special kind of stardust he sprinkled over the world, in the only way he would have wanted: a good dance.
This May, the Sydney Opera House will be hosting David Bowie: Nothing Has Changed. A tribute of epic proportions, featuring some of the biggest names in Australian music - iOTA, Tim Rogers, Steve Kilbey, Deborah Conway, Adalita and Jack Ladder – coming together to perform his timeless tracks and honour an artist that inspired so many. For us, it will be a chance to join voices for an always off-key rendition of Space Oddity, put on our red shoes and dance the blues, and be heroes, just for one day.
David Bowie: Nothing Has Changed will run for three shows only at the Sydney Opera House, on May 19, 20 & 21.
