Brighter at Night
Multi-talented, multi-tasking indie-folk trio, Little May, have just announced their first nation-wide Australian tour set to kick off in May. Following the release of their debut album last year, For the Company, produced by Aaron Brooking Dessner of UK band The National, Liz Drummond, Hannah Field and Annie Hamilton haven’t skipped a beat – touring internationally, playing festivals, and curating a collaborative art exhibition with 11 of their favourite Australian artists, each presenting visual interpretations of songs from the album. Recorded in a converted church in upstate New York, For the Company is laden with the sounds of its birthplace – dreamy and dark, whimsical at times, gutsy and raw at others. On stage the women are captivating, blending wistful vocals with intricate instrumental arrangements. See them live.
